I love the miniatures that we bring today, because I really like they way that it runs with skinks! Nazka-Y was our first, a special character, but now it time to the Caiman regiment.
Another lizarmen regiment for our Kickstarter campaign The Jungle’s Awakening.
It is like a joke, but real. Caimans are the first unit I started sculpting and the last one I’ve finished… I’ve spent so much time working on them, because I love so much these guys I really wanted to have a proper design ! Beware cause here comes the fierce and powerful Caiman!
So what I really wanted to achieve was to have a dynamic feeling on that unit despite the big size of these creatures. And I think that I got my goal!
The hero Nazka-Y was the first, now is time to see a regular Caiman
Caiman is the biggest “comon” lizarmen. Stronger but less inteligent than their smaller cousins, Caimans use to charge agains the enemy regiments, with the force of an avalanche.
For the regiment, I worked on three very different poses were wich one of them is doing something different. This one on a full charging position to transmit the bloodthirsty character of these monsters.
The other two Caimans for the regiment have a different poses. One standing on his two feet showing all his strength and size. The last one using one hand on the ground to show aggressiveness.
What was also as important as the creature was the design of the weapons. Each one of them is different and fit the purpose of each creature.
I really hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do !..
