Hochland Army: Empire Great Cannon

Sending a messenger to Nuln is the first thing an Imperial hero does when he takes up arms againstt the enemies of the Empire. The Empire Great Cannon is one of the finest artillery pieces that city-state can send to support the armies of the Empire.

One of the projects we care about most is our Empire army. We planned to collect a detachment from each province. So far we have shown several Ostland forces, including Kessel’s Spearmen, the Ostland Greatswords, and the Knightly Order of the Broken Sword. We even made an Imperial camp for the detachment.

The Old Friend enters Hochland service

From the Grand Barony of Hochland, we had already shown the Imperial Harquebusiers. We began our Empire army more than ten years ago, and the first artillery piece we added among the archers and halberdiers was this Empire Great Cannon.

Since then it has taken part in hundreds of battles, and the passing of time shows. Before entering Hochland’s service, the cannon we call “The Old Friend” needed a new coat of paint and a new base.

The Old Friend has served for years in the Empire army, and the weathering on the gun reflects that long service. The bright colours of the crew uniforms correspond to the Grand Barony of Hochland.

The crew prepares The Old Friend to welcome the enemy. We hope you like our Empire Great Cannon.

This old Empire cannon belongs to the same idea of human battle lines supported by heavy guns. For current LastSword tables, the Cannons Battery adds two cannons, crews, and field accessories with a clearly imperial feel.
