Middenheim Band for Mordheim

As the good enthusiast to this hobby we work on streaks. These last days, the Mordheim bands have raised on our priority list. Like in every project, before going all in, we looked for references, and during that search of previous needed material for our Middenheimers we found this little gem we wanna show you.

Sadly we didn’t save the source, so in first instance we couldn’t quote it. If someone knows, we would appreciate if you let us know.

The thing that got our attention the most is the fact that, actually Middenheim is one of the band with most capabilities for transformations, but, at the same time, are the ones that won’t mostly transform. It’s true the fact they have one of the best variety of miniatures on Mordheim.

This band also respects a lot the background. They won’t include big white wolves hunted by midenheimmers instead of their pets.
It is directed by a knight from the Order of the Panther. These knights are used as Boris Todbringer’s bodyguards, Middenheim Graff, and one of the rivals of Ulric templaries, the Knights of White Wolves. Pretty sure their official won’t be well welcomed by them.
The transformations of the men with weapons with bretonian base gives it a rude twist to infantry without falling onto a bizarre image. They’re still imperial and not barbarians covered in leather. It can also be used to differenciate knights from plebeians  in a very flamboyant way.

And this northem pie even has a cherry on its top.

What do you think about them?
